2025 D3 Rankings - Post Interregional Weekend
Interregional weekend has come and gone. Hope everyone enjoyed the madness. We sifted through the results to see who ran full strength, who sat out, and who ran a split squad to come up with these rankings. Rankings is a fun practice of factoring in how teams ran with their present squad but also giving some benefit of the doubt if they sat or split. HOWEVER, IF ABLE, run your full squad. Makes ranking teams so much easier.
Women
-Williams takes the top spot after their statement win at Conn College where they came out victorious over the top 5 nationally ranked teams. They did so without All-American, Kate Tuttle. MIT ran without veteran scorer Lexi Fernandez, and NYU was without Paul Short top scorer Ashlyn Pallota. Middlebury takes a big leap with their 6th place finish over north team Carleton. Washington and lee women split squad and kept a few varsity out of the Conn College lineup. Placing three of them back in put them around Conn College and SUNY Geneseo
-Meanwhile in the Midwest, rising stars UWL backed up their victory over UChicago with another statement win at Augie. Joining the party is Great Lakes standout Trine, who also overtook UChicago for second (and who Emily was giddy with pride for after ranking them tenth ahead of the weekend).
-CMU dodged ranked teams but posted an impressive win at Rowan to retain their spot in the top 10.

Men
-UWL captured a clear win over No. 2 Wartburg at Augie to retain the top ranking. The surprise performance of the weekend came from UChicago men, who jump from 22 to 10 after their fourth place finish ahead of North Central.
-Johns Hopkins justified their top-3 position with a big win at Conn. Tufts jumps to podium contention after their runner-up finish. MIT men follow up a shaky Paul Short performance with a big fifth place finish behind Williams. Rankings after the top 10 got a bit messy with teams swapping wins and losses from Paul Short. Amherst took second to NYU in the Paul Short White race a few weeks ago, but sat 4 varsity members this week to place eight at Conn. TCNJ and Colby make a case for nationals with their victory over West coast team CMS.
-Washington and Lee sat key runners in Robert Cooper, Sam Daunt and William Dunaway
