Episode 124 - Ethan Gregg

"He [Isaac] did it for me because that's what we do here"

We welcome Ethan Gregg to his full episode. After his exciting Indoor National weekend and running 28:40, we wanted to learn more about the biggest grinder in D3. This is another case of an average high school runner (4:41/9:45 1600/3200) making the mental switch of wanting to be great.

It's clear from Ethan's mindset that he is willing to do anything to get the job done. And as we peeled it all back, it comes down to his teammates. The bonds he has with his teammates is the spark that gives Ethan his abilities. That and his comfort of being in the dark places in races.

As you listen to this episode, you'll hear how he gets excited about the teammates he has and how much he cares for them.

Notable Quotes:

"It might come across like really confident me saying this, but it's hard for me to picture failing with the setup that I have over here."

"After the 5k there there was a lot of eeriness I saw on that finish line, and was like, oh shit, this is gonna happen again tomorrow."
